  • The reform I was suggesting was to actually vote for the Reform Party. I thought using the capital 'R' might have been a clue

Would you agree that Labour have also played a significant part in the downfall of this country? There is not very much to choose between the two. Self serving incompetents, that us the electorate have sat idly by for 50 years watching policies of both parties f*** over the hard working taxpayers of this country!!

Anarchy and revolution are the only way to save this country, because if we allow either of the two main parties to continue our grandchildren will have no future.

          • We had reform when we opened the floodgates to every none European country in world. In London today there are probably more immigrants than English people..

No I wouldn’t. I would agree that Labour have played a minor part by providing very weak opposition, but the significant part is definitely down to those who were given the power to make the decisions. Wrong and corrupt decisions time after time. This utterly incompetent and tarnished government need to go sooner rather than later.

I’d love to offer a better alternative but can’t with any real conviction. But I think even the average dog turd would be an improvement.

Just had a quick look at the Reform agenda.

They will have zero waiting lists within 2 years. Dead simple ....... if you don't get an operation within 9 weeks (isn't that a waiting list?) then you get a voucher to go privately. So simple, why hasn't anyone thought of that before?

'Let's make Britain great' is their motto - sounds very much like MAGA to me

                • durham that is obviously not the type of reform I am talking about. Reform will sadly not get in, not that they would be allowed to make their policies happen, as outside forces, WEF, would see to that, (think Liz Truss). We have to admit that our politicians as good or bad as they are, are not controlling our country, and that goes for the western world in general.
Do people really think that if and when we get to the holy grail of 'net zero', that everything in the garden will be rosy. We will never get there anyway as China, who have been responsible for producing as much CO2 in the last 5 years, as we have done since the Industrial Revolution, are not playing ball. If we do achieve bloody Net Zero, we will have more ice at the poles, more polar bears and more people, whoopy doo.
EP an interesting note, is that every time the Labour Party have been in government since the war, they have left the country in a worse financial state than when they took office. Things can only get better, haha.

That was the old argument, that only the Tories could trusted with the economy.

Well, they couldn’t be ‘Trussted’ this time!

No need to worry because when Reform are running the country they won't be bothering with net zero. They want to restart mining for a start.

John Cotton says "tough decisions" are needed as Birmingham City Council cannot balance its books.

We had gone past the point of no return when Enoch Powell was ridiculed with his rivers of blood speech. Fast forward 50 years, we now allow halal meat, there are more mosques than churches, football teams and other sports have had to change thier names because they includes white in the name.. We have a Pakistani Mayor of London, We have an Asian Prime minister, we allow some sections of Sharia law to be used in areas where there are mainly Muslim residents... If thats not reform then i dont know what is.

There's around 2,000 mosques and 40,000 churches. Nobody is being forced to call Notts supporters "the black and other colour army". Sadiq Khan is British. So is Rishi Sunak. There have been British people who look like them for centuries. And there are pretty clear reasons for that. We only allow Sharia (which means "law") for civil matters, just as we allow Jewish religious law in the same, limited circumstances. It is strictly opt in.

Powell's speech was seen as racist and incendiary at the time. He wasn't ridiculed, but seen for exactly what he was. He was rightly sacked for it - if he hadn't been, the shadow cabinet would have collapsed.

His speech was only four years after a Tory candidate endorsed the slogan "If you want a n****r for a neighbour, vote Labour". Personally, I'm bloody glad that isn't seen as quite so acceptable any more. At least by most people.

Financially poorer maybe ( due to global crash) but socially not. When global forces weaken a tory economy it seems deemed acceptable! Not when it effects a labour one though.
