The City of London School fees for the academic year 2019-2020 are £6,313 per term. School lunch is provided at a cost of £278 per term. Music lessons can be taken by pupils at school at a cost of £258 per term. That's the school that Diane Abbott's son went to. You don't always get what you pay for.Originally posted by BigFatPie View PostTrue dat. To be fair Sunak has been pretty good, though he did have a very expensive education so he should be.

Ooh a Diane Abbott reference. Yes I’d say Abbott Jrs education has, on the face of it, been poor value for money. Winchester’s fees are roughly double what you’ve just quoted.Originally posted by Notsohumblepie View PostThe City of London School fees for the academic year 2019-2020 are £6,313 per term. I’d also say that the results of a poor value education are somewhat more common in the Tory party. But of course I would say that.

Something to do with nudges and light touches, but I’m sure one of the epidemiological experts on here could enlighten us more.Originally posted by frenchmagpie View PostThat could prove to be a seriously obscene decision. Why are these governments not learning from others who are earlier in the process ?
More news on how impressive the leadership of this crisis is tomorrow.

I wouldn't blame anybody who has to rely on food banks (and there are a great many) for being envious of those who don't, nor the ever increasing numbers of homeless envious of those who can stay indoors but choose to head for their 2nd home and gallivant about on the hills.
"Boris Johnson is being urged to sack his most senior adviser after it was reported that Dominic Cummings said of the government's deeply controversial herd immunity policy on the coronavirus: "If that means some pensioners die, too bad."
According to the article in today's Sunday Times, Cummings made the comments at the end of February before changing his mind on 12 March after he realised he had "helped set a course for catastrophe.""

He recently employed (and took a long time to sack) somebody who had written in support of eugenics, so using pensioners as cannon fodder to keep the economy going to be expected. Freaks and weirdos indeed.

You’ve got to admit that’s impressive leadership.

Well he won't sack him .... he's a proven winning strategist and guaranteed the LW Socialist mob are out of power for a decade or more thank Christ. You're not a pensioner yet .... I am... and what will be will be. But full of doom and gloom ..never, this thing will pass and I'll be able to continue my search for a horny *65 year old* to spend my last few years with.Originally posted by upthemaggies View PostI wouldn't blame anybody who has to rely on food banks (and there are a great many) for being envious of those who don't, nor the ever increasing numbers of homeless envious of those who can stay indoors but choose to head for their 2nd home and gallivant about on the hills.
