  • I think people really need to wake up to 'The Great Reset' before it is too late.
Why do you think the IMF got involved yesterday with our monetary affairs, because the 'mini budget' didn't fit their agenda.
The country is in this financial mess because of covid, (an engineered virus, designed to crash the west's economies) not the Tories. Admittedly if they hadn't bowed to lockdown pressure we would have been far better off, but as I said before, under a Labour government, it would have been worse.

I bet the price of tin foil hats will be affected by the plunge in the pound too.

Deluded gambler who takes money from the bookies? You’re obviously not bright enough to do it.

As for ‘my party’, I don’t have one. The best I can offer is the party most likely to beat the corrupt Tories.

No, it was because the mini budget came close to causing a financial collapse.

            • The IMF didn't really "get involved". They just took a look at what this government is doing, trying to do, and badly explaining what it's trying to do, and summed it up as "you're absolutely bonkers".

As someone who knows people in the WEF, the idea that the "Great Reset" is some big shadowy conspiracy is hilarious. There's more chance that the National League is fixing matches to stop Wrexham from going up so they continue to benefit from the exposure.

Not Rectum maybe, but maybe us. Hence the superglue sprayed onto our players boots by one of their agents prior to the Donny Dorko match.

Today's financial and market data seems to indicate that things aren't as bad (note I haven't said good) as thought. Pound has recovered to pre-minibudget levels, we weren't (technically) in recession. USA and China markets are in the red (not helping my pension). Europe including UK in the green (green = plus or black).

Nothing will become clear whilst the Ukraine situation exists. Putin will play all the tricks he can to try and get the West to back off due to the pain.

                  • Labour 33% ahead in one poll today. Keir in Downing Street and Notts back in the EFL, it’s happening lads!

If Putin doesn’t get us first…

Things will be as bad as thought, as soon as the BoE turns the money printer off.

Eh eh The programmers didn't put an off switch in the system. It'll only turn off when there's no power supply left, probably around mid-Feb. We're flucked.

Ratcliffe-on-Soar power station was running at full whack when I passed it yesterday evening. I see it's had a stay of execution for another two years at the request of the Government and to which the German owners have agreed (at what cost?).

                        • Ignoring the people such as Suckerman as that generation of Tory blue rinses will never take the blinkers off...this country is fecked. The hole the UK economy is in now will lead to a Labour Government sooner rather than later. And that doesn't even account for the last ten years of Tory rule and the clown Johnson and his antics.

I'm not a Starmer fan at all, to the point I left the Labour Party when he was elected as leader, but will the country be better off than it currently is under a Tory government? 100% yes.

I've kept well out of the left/right debate on here, but the current situation is going to turn this country into a rich mans graveyard.

Yes and it only cost us via Bank of England £65 billion for things not to be as bad as thought
