We're not only looking for a Head Coach, we're looking for a leader of the club too - which LW provided.

Chris, Alex, Joe Palmer, Gagliardi, Alves, Matty Palmer - none of them can lead the charge to L1. We were clutching at straws when we thought Didzy could in the run-in. We need someone with charisma and vision.
Was with him at last years Charity Shield, still has a soft spot for Notts, he?s certainly had success since dropping into management, think it could be a good appointment.

Rotherham?s probably a red herring, similar to a team going up to the prem that don?t compete at all financially with the league.
I'm not saying he's the worst choice, before anyone starts, but he was also sacked at Wigan 'after a run of six losses in seven matches that saw the club fall into the Championship relegation zone', according to Wiki. You would have to overlook that as well.

        • I bet we get another crap manager

          • Why don't we just hire all of them?

It'll be like that season of House where he hired the auditorium full of assistants and slowly whittled them down to three.

Then the bedwetters could call for the sacking of a different manager after each match we lose, and everyone will be happy.

Hmm. Underwhelming IMHO but will get behind him if so.

Sure, but I note your underwhelmedness, if that's even a word.

I'm not sure either but I get your drift anyway

By the way, is it possible to be 'whelmed'?

Indeed, but it doesn't mean what you might think

He's hardly Mr Krispe Kreme but at least he does have some EFL experience?

True. If he's the one let's get behind him and see what he can do.

                              • Serious question considering he has promotion on his CV to champ what would be seen as non underwhelming?

Buckingham the same to the champ, Evatt to L2 and to L1, LW to L2, are they seen as better options? Or do people want someone else who has done more?
