The stadium is officially owned by a company called Sheffield 3 Limited, which is controlled by the Thai businessman.

Same. In general, probably the most deluded fans in the Uk. One fan posted on Owlstalk last night that he thinks Rangers fans have a sense of entitlement. The irony!

And how is that North stand even open? One minute it's deemed unsafe, then it's fine. Never been particularly bothered about crowd safety though have they.

                      15th April 1989 was a disaster.
After it was said the ground did not have a safety certificate.
The North stand being allowed to open this season, after a inspection, someone said the inspector was a Wednesday fan.

You are right about the deep pockets needed. However it is only the football side of things that need to be paid in full. Things like transfers, players wages and maybe agents but unfortunately everyone else will get 25p in the pound of what is owed if things go by the rules. The new owner could pay in full though.

Is Sheffield Wednesday a good investment? Someone tried to buy us for ?30m+ but I doubt that would touch the sides.

There is a name and history that goes with Sheffield Wednesday whether we like it or not and let us not kid ourselves that it would not happen because none of us could have imagined how far Manchester City have come.

I do feel for the Owls that I know because I know that SWFC means as much to them as Rotherham United means to me.

Yep agree with Yak and Helio couldn’t happen to a nicer club if it was any club but then I’d be sympathetic but I despise that club and a lot of their dilusional fans thy took the mick when we were going through the mire and now look!
What’s taken so long to deduct the points they owe money here there and everywhere and the grounds unsafe don’t forget they got into this mess chasing the dream giving it the big club mentality paying big £ for players you don’t suddenly get into this mess overnight it’s been coming over a long period when he took over he was best thing since sliced bread with loads of broken promises sorry but it needs a “big” club to go bust to wake up the powers that be and I hope it’s Pigs that take that honour knowing them though they will get taken over by a multi billionaire and they’ll be giving it large again!
As has been mentioned we have to be careful what we wish for here at RUFC and while TS isn’t perfect at least he runs us on an even keel what will happen when/if he decides to sell well that’s for another day to worry about let’s just enjoy this soap over at Piggyland for now and if that sounds childish I plead guilty
The ones I feel for are the likes of Doris the tea lady office and shop staff and all the ordinary employees having said that they’ve had enough warning as regards getting out and finding another job

I can't stand Wednesday but do feel sorry for their sensible fans (there'll be a few)
