TBF most moans come from the family stand, which is surprisingly full of more old folk than families. Though its quiet for during mid week games when they all stay at home.

Embarrassing support tomorrow. Swindon are bringing 900 tomorrow and we?re struggling to sell tickets. It seems the chairman is the only one what has to show ambition. Tin pot.Originally posted by caytonmiller View PostThis.
There is a bonus side to you lot not going. When a player makes a misplaced pass or miss controls the ball. We don't have to listen to the sighs and moans coming from the norf stans.

We still wouldn't fill it though. We wouldn't fill the stadium if it was free to get in tomorrow. It looks like we'll struggle to shift 2000 at 14 quid per ticket, people just aren't interested.Originally posted by the_idiotb_stardson View PostCharge ?5 entry and fill the stadium
We played Cheltenham at home last season in the first round. The attendance was 2,770.

Do we know what the comparison costs are for having the whole stadium open v only parts of it?
Maybe next season they should think outside the box and include home games in the first 2 rounds of the FA Cup as part of the ST. It might mean 0,1 or 2 extra 'free' games but would at least get the team a better level of support than they are likely to get today and would avoid the 'shall I, shan't I' we've seen this week around the sections being opened up.

There is something a miss at the moment. The support at Barnsley was poor and was Mansfield. The whole tone around the club seems to be turgid. In my view, it needs Tony to come out and declare his intentions. Does he really want to be here anymore? If not then he should sell up at a reasonable price otherwise we are just drifting. We need energy in the club and a direction.

I reckon we've sold just over 2000 right now. All the blocks are pretty much sold out, apart from NS5. They're bringing over 1000 which I think is pretty good.Originally posted by MILLERSTALE View PostIt?s more than that for tomorrow!!

I agree with you on that front. With current form, a home draw in the FA Cup first round was a prime opportunity to get more fans/potential fans through the gates, give the team the support it deserves and who knows, maybe even spur on a cup run. Instead we are fed a perceived perception that even loyal fans aren't welcome through the closure of most of the stadium.Originally posted by NorthWestCorner View PostWe need energy in the club and a direction.
Like or dislike what R&R have done for Wrexham, they certainly injected energy and direction into that club.

Everyone has their favourite place to sit in the stadium but it would have made more logical sense to open up the North stand that holds more capacity. I know some fans from the Family stand might not like moving but, I've sat in the family stands on multiple games and I sit in the North stand. You still get to see the match.
Knowing they were/are bringing a 1000 fans you then open up the away end for them keeping fans apart.
