I get what you?re saying, but against that I will offer memories of us losing in pre-season 2-1 against Aston Villa when they were European Cup holders and we were a mediocre 3rd Division side. Pre season is meant to be a fairly relaxed run out for both teams.

5-0 is a concerning scoreline in any circumstances.

Been. Rafferty Agbaire Gore Yearwood apart it didn't work. Wouldn't sign Benson doesn't give us anything different in midfield. Mcwilliams did ok but he's not a wingback. Neither is James his crossing in the 1st half was way off. Can't go with just 2 fit centre backs & forwards. Need double that. Kayode he's taking a place up shouldn't be still here. Jools looked dodgy 2nd half. Dawson same. Hugill still the same need more of a presence up front.

He doesn`t know anything,just waiting for MH to fail,so he can blaim Stewart,not sure why he bothers to be honest.
Today wasn`t good,but they are a nearly Prem team,and we are mid table league one team short on experienced players,hence the scoreline.
We need another 3 or 4 players at least,I`m fairly sure MH is aware of this.

I'm worried by what I saw today, the recruiting hasn't finished and as someone said, we aren't playing Sheff Utd evey game when the season starts. Chalk and Cheese for me that's all.

Today was a mess, albeit against a good side.

And if that's the way MH is going to set us up this season, we are in dire need of players who can actually play the way he wants. We've had all summer to sort this out, yet here we are, 2 weeks from the start of a new season, playing square pegs in round holes.

We're still 4 or 5 players short in my view. We need 2 wing backs, 2 CBs and a striker as a minimum.
