Stevenage are a horrible team, and for some reason, we tried to match them. Where was the flowing football of the first half last week?
The long balls went straight through to the keeper, our crosses finished in the kop and we couldn't string 3 passes together. Still early days though.

      Pathetic is a compliment !

Dire and 💩players other than one or two, this is a really dire time for the club - owner in a bubble and leaders who aren?t

Will be lucky to stay up - for ****s sake it was Stevenage !!!

Far too many blinkered booogers on ere who think the earth is flat !!!!

Cant remember the last time we looked exiting, skilfull and commited. Huge hill should be out the door 2 morra regardless of cost, his inclusion sez it all.

I'm not far out my initial take on players Gore said wasn't strong enough. James never rated. Midfield if we're still playing Kelly hasn't been strengthened. Martha as soon as I seen vid of him said he's not a wide player another cut inside player from the right. Only one forward Nombe good enough unless McGuckin proves to be. Etete panic signing. Another centre back needed. Were was Kaleta today? Why Holmes on bench shouldn't still be here.

Yes, and weve probably played 2 of the worst teams in this league.People keep saying this team needs time to gel.More chance of my arse cheeks gelling after a vindaloo. The only impact the former MSL player had in the USA was smashing a ball in the face of a kid in the crowd. The left wing back signed a 3 year contract in Belgiun, but was training on his own, and let go after a year. The bloke from Cardiff, has a longer medical record, than most people who are dead.
I initially said we would be in the bottom 5 after 10 games,iI have revised it down to 3.
Make no mistake, that performance was identical to an Evans one.No width, no shots, no leaders,or passion.

I know it's not Yak , but that worried me today , we never hit the ground running ,like other teams do ,we haven't looked right for the past few seasons when it starts ,

Others may back me up on this. There has been more work done behind the scenes than people realise.
The club has undergone somewhat of a transformation. To say more would be unfair. I have been surprised with the signings and how far the club is now looking into the future.

It is hard to see much difference at the moment but it is not a quick fix!

It's becoming apparent that we haven't recruited in the right areas, at least not yet anyway.

And where we have recruited, we've either been unlucky with injuries (Kian Spence) or there are question marks over the club's due diligence, for example the injury records of Kion Etete and Josh Benson. Not only that, MH wants to play with wing backs but Reece James isn't one. His replacement is a 20 year old lad who is still learning the game and hadn't kicked a ball in English football until last week. Really?

This season has got the potential to go disastrously wrong, and it already is. Obviously we're only two games into the season but we are essentially miles off from where we need to be. MH has a lot of thinking to do over the next few weeks, both in terms of final recruitment and how we set up with the playing staff we currently have.

The good news is we have Salford before the next league game. That's a chance to maybe revert to a back 4 or start with Martha as a LWB. We'll need to give McGuckin a run-out too, assuming he'll replace Nombe.

Worse transfer window than Evans last season that's how bad it is. Can't do any proper research on these signings. MH he's too mr nice guy to be a manager.

I don?t want to disappoint but the recruitment is done. The only change to that was if nombe left but that?s not happening now.

And by the way, you are absolutely correct about everything else. Disaster

What do people expect? Having to use 90% of players which failed or were injured, or both last season. Why the surprise?

Already gone disastrously wrong!! Get a grip FFS we are two games into the season.

New players and a new way of playing is going to take time. Miles off or not, we need to have patience, it?s not going to be a quick fix. I have faith in Matt at the helm, but it needs time.

It’s laughable that so many people are quoting the it’s a new team / squad. He has started both games with 90% of players from last season. Get real people.
                                The 90% are the problem.
