Need to offer Powell a new contract his crosses in are getting Pringle quality! Not many weak links last night once we changed it 2nd half. Paul Davis says he's got info about Raggett, Kelly & Hugill so could be up to 3 players in before the window closes. If James is out could do with a left sided player as well as right + another forward.

The players showed real desire in the second half with great effort from most players with Rafferty and Nombe standing out for me. and yes moving a 17 year lad away from two huge CBs to play wide was a good decision, but why did it take 1.5 games to spot that?

I am pleased for MH the pressure must have been immense before the game and at half-time, and although I do not think he is good enough I am pleased he got the result. Also well done to MH for his interview where he was very thoughtful and respectful to the Stewarts and not going straight into the game.

We started with his normal 3 at the back and yet agin we looked awful, gaps down the side of the 3 CBs that a better team would have taken more of an advantage of. Forced to go to a 4 at the back at the end of the first half due to Kaleta injury and for the last 7 to 10 minutes we vastly improved, playing further up the pitch. So what does the tactical genius do in the second half when James had to leave, back to a 3 and put players out of position.

We scored a good equaliser had 5 minutes of real pressure and then found ourselves pushed back again, so we bring on a right footed CB to play LB, move back to a four and we go on to win. Brin will point out that 4 defenders were practising headers with Woody before the game, that is true but kaleta was being given a separate workout clearly to help with his hamstring issues. When will MH learn that his system is flawed massively and we leak goals and a 4 is the way to go for the rest of the season. Baptiste, McWilliams and Jules can all play full-back if we need cover for James or Rafferty.

At the game we were talking about the games and struggle to remember any game this season where we have done well across 90 minutes, we do seem to have good and bad 45 minute periods, does anyone else notice that?

A special mention to Martha, he hasn't been great for a while, but he did ok when he came on against the Dons and again last night, silly fancy stuff near the end but much better in his natural wide forward position.

So well done the team and management for the win last night and I hope we go to the next game battle and come back with something, to have a mini-run started.
Good post Derbs. Both visually and in the more measured content.

Kaleta was in tears when he went straight down the tunnel when he came off.

James having x-ray on his ribs again last night. No doubt it Roundwood to blame.........................

Hugill injured could have been last time seen in a Roth U shirt. Raggett Kelly just not selected for last night would be open to moving them on.

Hatton should be in front of McWilliams & Yearwood getting in the side they offer very little.

Can someone clarify for me; is McWilliams just sh.te or does he not give a toss? Or both!

                  e!
He's always been sh.te, a pub player at best. All he had going for him was he ran about a lot, but he's stopped doing that now.

It was also a yard offside but the numpty with the yellow flag was as bad as the referee

He definitely was offside, but I think it balanced out subsequently when the Cobblers were denied what looked a certain penalty.

I thought the penalty shout was a 50/50 call EO. My son and I were sat down that end, and whilst he said it's never a pen, I wouldn't have been shocked had it been given......fine lines. UTM

I, too wouldn't have argued against a penalty, but he still had to score it.

Although it's not nice, posters disrespecting each other over football views is commonplace on these boards. Disrespecting a man who has just lost his twin brother and has no means of defending himself on here is not acceptable.
