  • Has anyone on the site got any hope left?

Please make yourself known if you think anything other than relegation?

Relegation is not a certainty. The way things are, 2 uppermost of the 4 will always be just 2 wins away. Dreadful division.

So there is always hope, but injuries may get in the way.

Win tomorrow, we have a chance. Lose tomorrow, we're done.

Bradford away, Plymouth (in form) at home, look like very tough games. Mansfield is only winnable if we're fighting. Huddersfield and Bolton will be very hard to take anything from. If we're not giving 100%, if we're plodding on with an interim manager, if we're juggling minor strains, these next few games which come Saturday/Tuesday with little rest, will see us too far adrift. If we win tomorrow there's hope.

I find it slightly worrying that Rafferty and Hamshaw both seem to point at fans as a problem in their interviews. "Cat and mouse" with who lifts who, according to Rafferty. I think it'll get pretty toxic if they don't take the game to Donny tomorrow.

Plenty of hope , they wont go down . They have 16 games left , not 2 .. it will be close., but they will do it , starting tomorrow,

Mansfield play Arsenal four days after they play us so hopefully they are bit distracted by that.

10 of those 16 are against teams in the top half, and 2 more who realistically won't have written off the play-offs just yet. That's three quarters of our games against teams trying to go up. The average points per game, and weird bunching up of teams means the points total to stay safe this year will be higher than normal, possibly over 50 points. It's a tall order.

Only if the elephant in the room gets addressed.

Hopefully so. I think some thought Burton would be a bit easier after the West Ham game while we rested though...

Until the points say otherwise. Yes.

                    Yes.

Hope we will be for sale in 3-6 months.

Think it's apparent we are leadership lacking on and off the pitch and a new setup is needed now.

I imagine everyone has hope. The question is, does anyone have any expectation.

As Ulley has already said, if we lose to Donny tomorrow, our chances of avoiding the drop are negligible - unless a defeat results in a change in management, in which case we may get a new manager bounce!

Only hope for me is that MH and his lot go and likely after 2 morra if less than a convincing win

Even then div 2 looks ominous - Bradford flying an Plymouth loadsa away wins

Want to be wrong but cant see anything other than that

There is always hope and that is the heart speaking, with the head not a chance in hell. There has to be four teams worse than us over the season. we are the only team in the bottom 9 that has lost our last two games, we do not have three of our better players (MH words not mine), our injury crisis is not over as we have 5 players out that would normally start games and other injuries as well. It is highly likely that we will get more injuries and continue to not manage the recovery well, because that will only get better if we change things, there is nothing coming out about us changing things in that area.

A win tomorrow will just mask the problem, I hope we win because we need to drag Donny back into the mix and the morale and confidence of the players would take some real boost to reignite.

On a positive we have 16 games left and on our PPG in the last 6 we are 1.17ppg which would get us to 49.72 (50 points) that should be enough (target 5 W, 4D & 7L). Over the last 16 games (the same as what is left it has been 0.81PPG which is us relegated). In the first 16 games we were at 1.19 PPG but that was with 5W,4D & 7D so we have to repeat or better the first third of the season.

so there is hope, but with each bad result and poor performance that hope will slip away fast
