Don't think anyone saw that one coming, done well at this level in the past but hasn't managed in the EFL for nearly 10 years. In our position he can't really lose, Good luck to him.

Thought this was a (bad) joke.
If that's the best we can do God help us.
Where's he been for the last decade? Nowhere very good.
      It is a joke actually.
We are the laughing stock of professional football.
Would you hire a tradesman knowing that no one has gone near him for ten years?

Was a gritty player. Hope it rubs off on the squad here.

          That?s an odd one !!
Must have had him lined up - probably on a bonus to keep us up and potential contract for nxt season.

Here we go again - 9 games to at least get. at least some style / organisation

Good luck cos hes gunna need it 🤞

Good luck to him. Hopefully with a new manager bounce and a fair wind we can take something from this miserable season.

"He had his most successful spell at Huddersfield Town between 2008 and 2012 before going on to take charge of Birmingham City, Blackpool, Kilmarnock and Bury and having a spell abroad in Sudan and Oban.

His last job came to an end in 2022."

Suspect Paul Davis might be confusing Oman with a Scottish town there.

Odd choice, very odd. His win percentage without Terry McDermott is low enough to be an attractive mortgage rate, really not sure this is better than Hamshaw or the backroom staff we expected at 10am this morning.

Well,if you`re going to sack Hamshaw now, then it was pointless unless you had someone to replace him straight away.....apparently we did have someone.
So this is good.....I think, very ,very strange appointment, but we`re buggered anyway,so lets see what happens.
                    Good luck my Geordie friend.

I think only the Wendies could ignore transfer window rules to pull that off, even if he did.

He has to win 5 out of 9 games which is really 8 with Lincoln away being the first game. TS put him and the club in this insane position because he failed to remove MH earlier. Even 6 games ago would have given us a chance.
