I don't think Stewart will have the cheek to increase season ticket prices even by inflation. But I don't think he'll cut them either, which is really what should happen by way of an apology. The NYS has always been a library and next year it's going to be as quiet as a graveyard unless he either gets his wallet out to employ someone like Revell, or sells up. I've always supported Stewart and we do owe him, but I've now reached this conclusion. He has taken us back to where he started, so time to let someone else have a go. The problem now with us potentially going down the gurgler into non league is there are far fewer potential buyers and they will want the stadium.

Martha was back to his usual standard, not at EFL level. J Holmes his little legs won't take him past defenders. Their goal was the type of goal you give away when your in the position we are in the table. Need to win the last 6 games. Not impossible.

Could it be argued that the Stewarts completely mis-managed their exit and greed was a factor in that decision. When taylor kept us in the Championship on the back of Warnes decent start, he should have sold that summer. A club in the championship would have sold for a lot more than a relegated L1 club that has a dwindling fan base, no playing assets a poor youth system and a clear player management and fitness issue. So you could argue they are reaping what they sowed, and now they will leave the club with a lot less money and a bad taste in the mouths of a lot of the fans.Originally posted by Tigerish View PostI don't think Stewart will have the cheek to increase season ticket prices even by inflation. Now sunshine you have nailed it. Any other postings here are just poking at isolated points of biased agenda of the unenlightened.Originally posted by GlennMiller View PostYou can trace our demise back to the lack of investment in Paul Warne. Sitting 8th in the Championship, the Board should have done everything to retain him and give him the funds to strengthen the side for a play-off push. Since that time, we have gone backwards at a rapid pace, wasted money on incompetent coaches and players whose best days were way behind them. To be honest, the Board have got what they deserve and unfortunately, we, the poor, suffering supporters, have no alternative but to witness the sad decline of such a promising club. I fear for the future!
Well said. Prepare for the backlash from the gaffer mob and anti anything else. But you speak the absolute truth.

Don?t you be so confident, you may be in for a surprise, he may well raise them.Originally posted by Tigerish View PostI don't think Stewart will have the cheek to increase season ticket prices even by inflation. However, if he did we would lose more revenue than we would gain. But would he realise that?
Someone said he should have sold in that last summer of warne. Yes he should have, because the whole structure of the club with staff was the best we have had. It gave those seasons of success he craved for, yet the likes of Barlaser left the club.
No wonder warne left when whatever sale fell through.
Appreciation of all the events under his tenure since then cannot be underestimated, yet some are. Blaming it on this that and the other.
When it is chain of events. And the out of character money spree with Taylor and Evans on wrong players really sowed the seeds.
Yes, we are suffering, the club as a whole is for it. And the next weeks will point the way to what is going to happen. Of he has any sense he will reduce the prices. Conscience if honest should do that. He is going to cut the player budget (but of course it will be competitive) so ne may as well cut both.
Fans are watching.
