Isn't signing players early, like SE did make it more expensive?
So do you think Lee Clark was wrong when he said so many things needed sorting out quickly or the downward spiral would continue?

I'd like to think that whoever is coming in is already in place and making plans for next season. If that is whats happening, although I hate the lack of communication and transparency from the club I could live with it.

Yes and no mellow. The no being the very likelihood is we will be picking up players in a while and at the end, so the rush is not immediate. LC may have shot himself in the foot.
The players we probably sign will be around.
It depends on WHO we pick up, and gwd forbid the older, injured, etc.

The yes is a little harder to evaluate. Not necessarily, depends on the above, and their agenda.
Also of course, the manager, staff, who choose them.

I think the issues are not related to speed.

          Oh,
An update to the update…. https://www.rotherhamadvertiser.co.u...therham-united

Someone said there were phones, zoom, etc on a cruise ship. Using them has not finalised things? The delay can mean only one thing. Money, or total autonomy, or even both. Or somewhere in between.
SC will for sure bring Simpson in.
A lot is riding in the balance.

We may well yet not have a paddle for the canoe.

Ask yourselves this. What is the difference between letting evans have a huge budget, and paying SC an assumed high fee, if at the end we end we do not really have any better players than have departed?

I doubt very much that Tony will over spend again. And not even SM could have improved with that departing group.

Influence and money. Not a good historical pair for Tony. Oh to be in those meetings.

This is starting to get a tad worrying. We have no squad to speak of and need to strengthen in every single position on the pitch. We will no doubt offload Hall, Nombe and Martha. Leaving us with a bunch of injury prone vastly inexperienced kids and Rafferty. New manager/Head Coach/Director of Football are going to have to absolutely nail recruitment or National League here we come. Lot of players will be trying to get deals done early so they can go off on holidays - it appears we have done absolutely nothing.

Stuff has been happening in the background players will have been contacted. The incoming manager knows he?s coming but for whatever reason it?s not been announced yet. I agree it?s frustrating but it doesn?t mean nothings happening.

The only person saying it would happen Friday,Monday etc was someone on here with "inside" knowledge apparently.
Let's be honest, 99% of posters on here know f*ck all whats going on, but just pretend otherwise.

I certainly do not know what is going on, as manuel says "I know nothing..." Except my season ticket money for the family is staying in the bank until I see a reason to spend it on RUFC

If you had a season ticket in the past, what reason did you see to spend it when MT, SE or MH were the managers?
