All those years? That's a bit harsh, He's only been there two and a half seasons and improved their league position year on year with a bottom half budget.Originally posted by Lolmorgan View PostHe spent all those years a Grimsby & could not get them promoted.
I can't seem to find any report that suggests he's left Grimsby anyway?

Who knows?
Stop worrying about things you?ve got no knowledge of or control over.
I thought it was a well known fact that most football contracts run to end of May or June?
One of SM comments was he rarely signed players in May and when he did they were probably the wrong ones and he overpaid for them so rushing in can lead to costly mistakes.
Think we can all agree that we fell for that scenario two seasons ago - how may of those early signings were any good or offered value for money based on time on the pitch?Originally posted by Ericsladkilnhurst View PostA decent salary would be 5 grand a week, with a bonus on promotion.
We will be looking at lower crowds at home, when you look at some League 2 crowds at their own grounds, I can't see all that many away fans coming to the NYS.
At least the Millers will save on paying stewards, not as many needed.
One thing that could bring a few away fans is to see the NYS.I was replying to Steve McClaren's salary mate, not the new manager / head coach.Originally posted by Masbroughstreet View PostApparently the average salary for a Manager in League Two is ?1500 to @2000 a week so I'd be surprised to see TS paying more than double.

To be fair, whilst Josh was one of our young players,I didn`t see much too worry that he`s gone,I think we`ve better young prospects at the club.Originally posted by Derbymiller View PostRemember his first decision was to let Josh ayres leave a young player developed at the club let go for NOTHING. let us see where his career takes him.

Maybe, but now Ayres has got an excellent tutor in Jermaine Defoe and it will be interesting to see how he develops in the National League.Originally posted by Townerslovechild View PostTo be fair, whilst Josh was one of our young players,I didn`t see much too worry that he`s gone,I think we`ve better young prospects at the club.
Woking think they have got a gem and at 6'5" he could prove to be a real handful.
I was hoping we might have given him another year.

My point is have we done another Yates? Can’t understand why he wasn’t given another year to see how he develops, low cost, low risk and a home grown player which helps with squad numbers. We were in talks about giving him a new deal, he may have turned it down for all we know. Possibly thought he'd get a better chance to play every week in the National League.Originally posted by Derbymiller View PostMy point is have we done another Yates?
