My point is have we done another Yates? Can’t understand why he wasn’t given another year to see how he develops, low cost, low risk and a home grown player which helps with squad numbers. We will see

Derby he was offered another year, the club entered into discussions with his agent, he has turned down our offer to go to Woking as he wants to play more. Fair enough I didn’t know that, not everyone reads every article thanks for the information. McClaren will be asked by Stewart to step in as Manager. Knowing the limited budget, McClaren will decline so as not to embarrass himself in failing and will walk away seeing how his contract is an open one.

Make no bones about it, IF we haven't announced a new Manager by the start of next week, then the s.hit will really hit the fan. If the truth be known, I think Stewart was too scared to take on Lee Clark because he wasn't a YES man that Stewart wouldn't have been able to control. For me Clark WAS the Manager we needed, he saw through the shirkers etc spoke his mind and Stewart didn't like that.

Evo kept us in the championship though something Warney failed to do! Warney left us bout 2 months into a season so can't tell how that campaign would have gone.
