He knows what is required in League 2 and had Walsall performing well (arguably overachieving given their modest budget) and people who accuse him of bottling things conveniently choose to omit the fact that leading scorer Nathan Lowe was recalled by his parent club in January.
That would have seriously impacted what Sadler was building and once again highlights the risks involved when clubs choose to rely heavily on the loan system.
If he does come here I just hope he gets proper backing from the board which allows him to put together a competitive squad.
I will give him my full backing and will get the season tickets bought because I don't want to see my club go down even further but as you say IF he gets the proper backing, that is the big if.TS has lost all trust with the fans and lots were pleased to see that the club were talking of a take-over, a few weeks ago, that seems to have frittted away.Hopefully Phil Smith can work something out and with proper people in charge we should be in a much higher status.I cannot believe we have been so badly run to get into this lowly position we find our selves in !!!!!!!!!!!!

As far as I'm aware the club hasn't said anything which isn't unusual but presumably Paul Davis has reasonable contacts who occasionally let him know what's going on.
The whole situation gets more farcical by the day and you can't help being concerned that we might be about to get turned down for a second time?
          Then what?
          Richard Wood?
          Maybe that's becoming inevitable now.
