Good birdie, CAM, for a word that was one of many in a permutation for some of us. (I could see it as an option after the second go but it seemed the least likely of many choices…)

So 6 for me.

Obviously burning a go was an option but there seemed to be too many choices to find an eliminatory word…

Thanks CT. I had lots of options available for my 3rd guess but just went with the one that I thought the WORDLE editors would use and for once my intuition paid off.

I think that's a big part of doing well in Wordl; being able to get inside the mind of the editors and second guess what they would be likely to do.

Had another parp today which ,after getting 4y on my first go seems poor. I then got 3g+1y for my 2nd go so knew where the yellow went and worked out the last letter was any from 4. I burnt my 3rd go to get the final letter giving me a parp, hope that makes sense.
