Statistics November 1-7

Another good week for Madsters and quite a strange one for the Wordle world if the NYT is to be believed as the easiest word of the week had an average over 4.00 which from my memory we have never seen before.

Easiest was EVENT on the 7th with a 4.18 average (3.45 on MM) and hardest was BLAZE on the 3rd with a 4.81 average (4.25 on MM despite 4/8 getting birdie 3's).

I was getting nervous after yesterday.

A lucky guess on row 3 helped enormously.Only word that seemed valid with my letters so a 4. Good score today I feel

That has taken me f*****g hours of leaving it and coming back to it and on my 5th go I burnt it just to see if i saw where the 3 letters I had might fall and it gave me a chance to guess the f*****g ##@#@@## stupid word which fortunately came up green. I have never been stumped so much by a word since I've been doing this and it was an educated guess in the end.
