Well I'm not surprised that some folks haven't got it today. I struggled all the way with lots of thinking and finally got it on the 6th attempt but I'm still wondering if it's really a word anyway, ha-ha. I don't think I've ever used that word in my entire life. They're scraping the bottom of the barrel now I reckon. Good grief!

They reported that was a problem yesterday and claimed it was due to them changing the word after first publishing it. Haven't seen any reports of it today though. Today is number 285.

Not a fan of spoilers but a vague clue is today's word (for me anyway) might describe our finishing position in the Championship if we get there next season.
