OT Wordle.

A very pleasing 4 today for me.

2 = 1y 1g
3 = 3y 1g
4 = 5g .......... after my 3rd guess I studied the letters for about 45 minutes before it just came to me, ha-ha.

After two guesses it took me ages thinking about what it could be but I got there in the end.

Oh dear, it's back to 5 this time but I could've had it in three again. After my second guess I had the first four letters in the correct order. So what did I do, I went for the most unlikely option first. And then again, and again till I was left with the easiest option and that was the letter needed, typical ......

I got all excited on my second guess when the first 4 came up as green. Ha-ha I should've known better.

Nez, in that situation it may be better to sacrifice your third go by creating a word made up of as many of the possible options that could be your missing letter. That will invariably eliminate all but the correct letter you’re looking for and you’ll have the answer on the fourth go.
