The climate has always changed and it will continue to do so regardless what us humans do!

We have a CO2 drought at the moment compared to years gone by.
CO2 as we all know is the gas of life. Without it we and everything else on the planet dies!

Don?t forget that only 20 years or so they said that huge parts of plans will be under water.

NASA keeps building on the coast line so I?m not too concerned if they?re not.

And don?t forget that scientist can get grant funding if they mention in their papers a negative effect to nature.

It another Industrial Revolution just like the last one based on mobile phones and technology.

That one has run it?s course so they have to con us to spend our money on something else or scare us that much that we?re all happy to let them tax is more!

    It?s a con!

Many people will opt to shop elsewhere. If enough people take a stand they'll soon knock it in the head.

The "experts" were warning years ago that oil was running out. We still have plenty left but try to ban drilling for it, but instead let's turn a blind eye and import it, a bit like coal, but have no control over how it get's from A to B.

EV sales are faltering and the Car industry is powerless to keep producing high volumes of EV's. What happens to older EV's when someone want to change it for a newer model? Have we a recycling option or will we be charged to dispose of the batteries, like there's a charge for disposing of your old tyres? How long do these car batteries last, does anyone know? Would you buy a second hand battery?

The last coal power station closed this year.
Is there a need for coal in the UK anymore? Britain used to make steel and needed the coal to turn into coke. Workington was going to be the place to mine for the coal but it and they scrapped it.
Tata closed down Port Talbot?s last blast furnace then when it finally closed they announced the construction of a new plant in India.

EV sales continue to grow. The only thing slowing is the speed of growth, but there is no example of continued exponential growth in the history of commerce - all sales eventually taper to a peak.

Batteries are an obvious concern, and there's a (well funded) group of people who push back against the surge of EVs who will push that case, but they don't often talk about the mechanical simplicity of EVs and how there are far fewer things to go wrong. They also fail to mention the truth about the vast majority of car sales - we don't keep them forever. Batteries are generally guaranteed for a period likely way beyond the first ownership and in many cases way beyond the second. As of now, it's a hefty cost to replace, but (again, as won't get talked about by the opposing position) that cost will come down as more EVs reach that stage, and the owners won't have had to shell out for many of the mechanical issues they'd have encountered in an ICE equivalent.

                    Here's the uncomfortable truth:
There are pros and cons to EVs, and there are pros and cons to ICE vehicles. Neither is universally better. Both have a set of arguments being pushed by fantastically rich organisations which attempt to cover up the fact that both come a multitude of environmental issues. As products, both come with pros and cons too. I've driven ICE, hybrid and full EVs, and have my own opinions on which I prefer, but I'm not stupid enough to pretend my rationale should apply to everyone.

Do you think the companies responsible for the Deepwater Horizon spill of the Exxon Valdez are non-profits? You reckon tobacco companies run at a loss? Selectively naming people you (without any stated reasoning) don't like and saying they make money doesn't really mean anything. Many industries have successful businesses and rich people, but you seem obsessed with a select few - why?

Once again you're failing to offer anything other than your anger. As funny as that is to watch, it's not really doing anything other than to point at your inability to put anything meaningful forward. Maybe your cat believes every word as you stomp about shouting "Mad Miliband", but it's not going to wash with adult humans.

But yes, I'll take my blinkers off.

The tobacco companies bought the food industry when the governments of the west started to tax the hell out of us for buying their products.
Control food and control the masses.

The weapons manufacturers need wars to profit so we continually have wars.

The pharmaceutical industry need people to be ill so they can sell drugs.
A pandemic will do nicely. Chicken pox parties were a thing but now there?s a vaccine but for what reason other than money.

You are right people will invest into anything where money can be made.
But there is a nasty smell of things being continually caused for that purpose.
