Not been on for a while as I've enjoyed a weeks fishing down Newark, too bloody hot to fish on a couple o' days though
Back on track and my stable lad has belled me. We had a shortish conversation considering the fact he's told me THREE, yes THREE incomings next week and wait for it, depending how the pieces fit into the jigsaw it could be as many as FIVE!
He couldn't talk long so no names given. From this IF all falls into place and he's more right than wrong, I have to deduce that 2 of the initial 3 may well be Josh Benson and possibly Dru Yearwood as both have been on trial and obviously fit into our budget otherwise they wouldn't be trialling with us. The third may well be the goalkeeper, Liam Hall who is one of three players bidding to earn contracts during the League One Millers' week-long pre-season stay in Portugal.
The 20-year-old is a free agent after being released by Wrexham following their promotion to the Championship last season.
He spent two years with the Welsh club but never made a senior appearance for them.
For me it's still a target man we require. Nombe and Hugill to lead the line but if either become injured/suspended then I have little faith in Kayode or McGuckin, as our two back ups albeit, they may prove me wrong and good on them if they do.

Brin 2 trialists & a 3rd choice keeper they aren't really signings that's going to get fans pulses racing! One of those trialists only though that doesn't add up too me can't be that desperate. Two centre backs another midfielder couple of wide players & a big forward that's what we're lacking at least.Comment

Brin that is good news if it happens for me though we are desperate for defenders rather than up top as priorities although I do agree if anything happens to Hugill or Nombe we are a bit stuffed , we seem overloaded up front with the likes of Mccuckin Ayres Hatton etc if just one of these can come good it would be a bonus!
I can’t understand the need for another keeper as if anything happened to either Dawson or Cann isn’t there a rule for a keeper loan in emergency? I presume all this is in hand re defenders as the Raggett situation lingers on, one I heard is a lad called Rosiak coming on loan from Arsenal, he’s a right back and can play midfield handy on set pieces presumably this one will not be immediate as Prem teams formulate their squads, might be something in it as we seem to have good links with Arsenal or we did have before SE took chargeComment
