not everyone that is right of centre or in fact left of centre is a nutcase. In fact when a person results to name calling against those with a different political view than themselves, it says more about the person doing the name calling. We should be open and welcoming debate from all points of the political quadrant (yes that is right, it is not an horizontal line) not resulting to verbal abuse and hatred or violence. Ask yourself who benefits when the masses flock into tribes and attack and hate each other, it never benefits the masses that is for sure.

I met a fellow millers mad contributor at an away game last season. We butted heads a few times on here and I thought he was a knob. Turned out we had a pint together and got on well Ive played snooker with him a couple of times since we have different views but get on well.

Very sad that a young man with a wife and kids should be murdered for having opinions and be prepared to debate them in public by travelling extensively .

Anyone thinking that by ending his life his opinions die with him couldn't be more wrong , history is littered with people who stood up in public and campaigned for what they believed in and were assassinated for it .

Martin Luther King is probably a standout example and his words most definitely didn't die with him .

They even tried locking up Nelson Mandela for 30 years , that didn't work either for his oppressors .

The pen is always mightier than the sword and always will be .
