If current manager has no faith in him then who is going to want him?

Becomes a forgotten man in Rotherham reserves

That said, aside from Nombe, who would you start up front instead of JCH?

Hughill - I dont think so. Two and a half seasons of nothingness.
        JJ - nothing to offer.

Sadly, JCH is still our second best option!!!

I was told JCH wage demands to high for Bristol Rovers, so no deal.

Heard the same - I am not sure what MH is trying to achieve with these quotes.

Pointless demanding high wages if you?re seen to not (recently) coming up with the goods

I think it's pretty clear that MH wants JCH out of the club so is doing his best to make it happen.
The problem is that the club apparently signed him on a lucrative contract and, not surprisingly the player wants to maintain that level of income.
Unfortunately his performances last season, coupled with a lack of fitness suggest that any interested clubs will be reluctant to match his demands so probably the best MH can hope for is that someone will take him on loan with us paying a significant proportion of his inflated wages.
Added to that, MH has said that he hopes to get more out of Hugill this season which suggests he will be the preferred striker alongside Nombe.
Personally I don't find either of these scenarios particularly appealing!

Of the two, I'd take Hugill over JCH every time. It was quite obvious that Hugill and SE didn't see eye to eye - he spent the majority of the season in the North West corner joking with the crowd, rather than being close to Evans in the dug-out. When he did play, the long ball game did not suit his style of play. With supply from the flanks he has the potential to be dangerous in the area. I have no such faith in JCH.

I agree with that Glen, the long ball doesn?t fit with Hugill.

                        In the original article:-

?I think Jonno is well aware what is happening?

Is that the current management style then?

Don?t communicate with players directly, let them find out from reading the local papers?

Already said that Hugill isn't a target man. JCH sooner he goes the better even if we have to pay the majority of his wages still. Kayode I'd say it's a huge risk relying on him to be the big forward we need. Signing needed there.

That's easy to say M8 but there's a reason MH budget has been cut from 5 to 3 million. Jch, Evans, Raynor ect. They all need paying up and it only effects MH budget and our season ahead.

Not sure what Hugill actually is

I suspect that Hugill is higher paid than JCH and both are unlikely to attract other teams and their managers. So itÂ’s a case of playing one regularly and benchwarming the other
