Striker incoming at last?
Adam Idah from Celtic for a fee of seven million including add-ons according to media reports. Not the wow signing promised but after several knock backs this finally looks to be the one. The owners have put their trust in new Swans Director of Football Richard Montague to come up with the goods. With his first-hand knowledge of the football industry and overseer of recruitment he has made some impressive signings so far this transfer window.
Hopefully Idah will turn out to be another one.

What do we know about Adam Idah.
He was born in Cork in 2001.
He is a 1.90m/6?3? centre-forward.
He joined Norwich Academy in 2017 from College Corinthians and signed as a professional on a four year contract in 2019 and scored 12 goals in 100 appearances for the Canaries (71 appearances in the Championship and 29 in the Premier League).
He joined Celtic in August 2024 for 9.5 million, scoring 21 goals in 50 appearances.
He is a Republic of Ireland international, scoring 5 goals in 32 appearances.

In a strange move, Idah has been recalled by Rangers after travelling down and completing a medical here in Swansea and agreeing personal terms.
Thanks to our erstwhile ‘love Swansea’ ex-manager Brendan Rodgers, who says Idah is not leaving until an adequate replacement is found.
What’s going on there, does the right hand know what the left hand is doing. Why agree a fee and allow Idah to travel here for a medical when they have no intention of releasing him?

As the transfer window comes to a head we seem to be in limbo.
Idah has gone back to Celtic after a medical at Swansea. Celtic will not let Idah go until they have a replacement.
Vipotnik, after just scoring in three successive matches still does nott know if he is leaving or not.
