    Morning everyone..watched this last night on Netflix .stunning version from gullermo o del toro.great filmmaking and retelling of a classic.Cinematography, acting from everyone was top drawer.watched it on my 50 inch oiled with soundbar.so impressed I had to tell you all .so let me know what you think..makes a change from mason and maja don?t it.have a great Sunday.utb

      Is yhis a remake?
      Haven't heard about it....mind you I haven't heard of Netflix either...

        Hadn't realised this was on Netflix until the better half told me. I like his work anyway (Pan's Labyrinth, Shape of Water especially) and particularly the look of his pictures. The movie stays quite close to the book and I really enjoyed it-even on our LG 32" though I'm sure it is even more impressive with the proper kit.

        Probably the second best film version of Frankenstein after Whales's 1931 classic. The only thing that let it down were the relatively poor CGI animals which was a surprise given the general quality of his work. But yes, agree that it's worth a watch!

            I was always OK with Frankenstein, Dracula, Werewolf and the Mummy.
            Exorcist got me when it first cane out in the early 70's. Wasn't ready for that....

              He seems to turn into Ian Astbury from The Cult towards the end 😄
