Bloody lucky with the disallowed goal perhaps but Gray did obscure O'Leary's view to be fair. Taylor's pull down of Gray just after rather naturally caused a ruckus but if Blues fans are honest they would be quite happy for one of their players to have done exactly the same if the boot had been on the other foot. Yes, it's cynical but can't afford not to resort to the "dark arts" in football these days.
Overall, a pleasing result especially as both Norwich and S'hampton did us favours tonight beating Oxford and Leicester. We may not have created much but we held our shape and battled well against an in form Blues side playing at home. Think most though of us will be happy to take that!

Have to give Albion such credit for that battling performance. Could not fault any player for effort, they gave it their all. Having sad that when that ball went into the net in the last minute I thought, ‘Oh no not again.’ When the ref. ruled it out I thought that perhaps our luck is changing. A well earned point!

Taylor had two massive impacts tonight with his goal line clearance and then the pull back which saved an almost certain goal. On the negative side, I thought that Price and Mowatt offered nothing again tonight but in the end it could be a precious point especially considering what happened at Leicester.

In fairness Al, we have not had much go our way for most of the season but against Derby and tonight we have had ‘the rub of the green.’ Long may it continue!Originally posted by baggieal View PostWhat did you say LB about we never get any luck

Indeed Ketts, it?ll be interesting to see how we are going to be able to create chances and score goals - we look very far from it as it is.Originally posted by kettering_baggie View PostTaylor did his job tonight and O’Leary produced a great save but the trouble is, we don’t ever look like scoring!

As most of us have stated, a real battling performance all round. Having said this, our lack of creativity is very worrying. If Johnstone isn’t providing the ammunition there is little for our front runners to feed off. Despite all that effort we didn’t look like putting the ball into the back of the net. Somehow we have got to find a way of improving in this area otherwise it will remain a struggle to keep our heads above water.
