68?s description of the events that happened between Regis and Soulman is to my memory quite correct. I myself got some abuse on the threads that 68 described.
Noted. My point was that Soulman had continued to post for months subsequent to the earlier issues. It was a thread started by Baggie Blood on the 14 September. It was remarks made by the author of that threat that caused Soulman to decide to no longer post on here.

I’m not saying there was not previous issues or that they were not cumulative in Soulman decision.

I’’ll give Baggieblood some credit in that he did apologise to Soulman, which is more than I have ever received for being subject to much abuse, both s?xual and personal.

68, I think you may need to keep everything crossed, let?s hope it works and who knows we may actually walk past each other this day and not know it.

              Enjoy the game.

There needs to be a sense of perspective. This thread started about this site and the snide comments from the other playground including would you believe it childish cartoons about footymad going down. As 68 said - why be so sad and get a hard on every time footymad goes down. If the other playground was so good why do posters there even mention footymad? Is it because they only have about 4/5 posters and most who go on there like Dubs post once and disappear?

Looking forward in life is the motto and not been any conflict on this site for a very long long time!

                I remember throwing up in a taxi when I was 18 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Haven?t had so many opportunities of late, partly due to this site and partly, of course, due to our problems scoring, Phil.

Hello again OB. Warning. The length of this post may even exhaust Omeg. Sorry Omeg. I trust you enjoyed Saturday's result and day out as much as I did OB. What a relief to have a bit of breathing space.

Firstly I would like to say Regis has done a good thing in developing the new site for our fellow Albion supporters to post on and stay in touch with each other. A very good thing. I am not knocking that and never have.

In fact if you check back on this thread I have wished Regis and his board members the best of wishes on a number of occasions, this is despite some of the comments I read when admiring the new swings and roundabouts in the new playground before the fences went up and the gate was padlocked.

I have absolutely no problem whatsoever in saying Regis appears to have done a good job with it. At the same time when he first mooted the idea I told him I had no intention of downloading the app for any number of reasons which I am not going to repeat. If he ever comes back or you sign up there I feel sure he would acknowledge this.

So now the new site is up and running you need to download an app to access it's full functionality. You can still join and sign in via a browser but I am no more a fan of two tier access to a football forum than I am to having two tier access to a season ticket.

Thankfully I have a choice on both counts. Not to join said new community and a booklet of tickets for this season rather than downloading the WBA app. Among other things I have no intention of clogging my phone with any more data than is necessary for it to function.

Regis came on here resuming an ongoing recruitment drive for new members from this site. I politely suggested he consult his existing members given their recorded dissatisfaction with members of this board.

It only seemed fair to them really, I mean imagine setting up in football forum paradise and finding a bunch of argumentative tossers from a former forum rocking up to spoil your new found Shangri la. Genuinely wouldn't want to put that on anyone which is how we've arrived at our current space in time.

If you are bored enough to check back and have time on your hands which you will never get back I never said Regis was solely responsible for Lloyd's exit. Ever. Two respected members of this site have come out in support of my assertion of cumulative effect, a concept which I think is quite easy to appreciate.

You see as stated on Saturday I haven't got anything crossed and Regis has essentially unravelled and reverted to type over the course of a few days. He's made detrimental posts towards myself and Al when all I've done is wish him the best. It isn't a very good look for someone hosting former members of this site who had apparently grown weary of all the bickering.

Baggie Blood messed up but as you've stated he did at least offer a seemingly heart felt apology for his actions. It's a pity he's gone because despite some of his more aggressive rhetoric I got on well with him here and he certainly knew how to spot a player for the most part. Regis on the other hand clearly feels Lloyd's departure was down to BB and his apologies have lacked any kind of sincerity either back then or now.

Lloyd to his credit stuck around for a good while following Regis's thread and a number of comments prior to Baggie Blood's thread. There's a theory that life is a journey and you need big bags to carry enough provisions to sustain you through that journey.

If that's true then all I can suggest is that Lloyd has a bigger set of bags than Regis. That not withstanding should Regis grow weary and wish to pop back and put his feet up in front of the fire then as far as I'm concerned he's more than welcome to do so.

That was episode one but I will be busy for the rest of the evening. Episode two is shorter but I'm willing to type it out at a later date if you're interested. If not that's perfectly fine by me. Have a good evening OB and enjoy the rest of the season. And Regis, if you're reading this it was never anything personal. Be well and all of the very best in life and with the new site.

                        COYB 😎.

Good post Dan and bang on. You are hardly going to entice new members by taking the p iss out of footymad with childish cartoon images. It?s what bitter old chaps do when they can?t play doctors and nurses anymore!

As for Baggieblood he?s a top guy albeit he was wrong to attack Soulman but was one of the first on here to wish me well with my own health issues. I hope he returns.

I have always wished the new playground well but would you enter a shop when the front window display is padlocked so you can?t have your creative juices flowing? Maybe Ann Summers is the exception because you know what to expect albeit the partner might 😭

Just got my tickets for Blackburn and because money has deported my piggy bank - I will boo at the final whistle if we have been shyte 😭😭. It?s what you do after six pints and a curry. Talking about curry?s you will be spoilt for choice in Blackburn town centre!

Mick messaged me last night and sends his regards. He?s hoping his head of recruitment inspires the readers of said promotions and refrains from unsavoury terminology like gob shyte 😭😭😭😭😭
