I know. I can’t really understand the benefits of it but also dont think it will be a big deal.

Surveillance on me wouldnt bother me at all. Im quite a boring man, they would soon stop.

In terms of misuse, I dont think they would dare. We all know the only way of controlling people in the uk is to distract them with immigrants.

Fair points Matt and I suppose most of us lead pretty mundane lives which wouldn't bear up to the scrutiny of anyone else's particular interest. I certainly do and if there are any prying eyes out there there's certainly nothing to see here 👀.

As for immigrants catching the imagination and controlling minds in the UK it wasn't so long ago we weren't allowed out of the house without wearing a pissy little mask and being told to stand in line to do the shopping.

Nobody made me have my Covid jabs but there was more than a little pier pressure and societal coercion applied. Most of us complied there as the research suggested we should and I don't remember that being led by immigrants.

Cash transactions largely disappeared (before making a retro comeback) and most of us now have banking apps. I imagine our financials and spending habits can be (are) easily monitored if 'need be'. As can the likes of WhatsApp and encrypted communications as and when required.

I am no conspiracy theorist Matt and doubt the Lizard People have any particular interest in my buttocks or stockpiles of tin foil, bog roll and my collection of bellybutton fluff. If I had any or all of course. Please don't tell anyone, most definitely not the Internet 😉.

That said I am a great believer in healthy cynicism, asking questions and the general accountability of the powers that be as even where due process is little more than a sham there needs to be one.
