They will go back when safety precautions are in place, and gradually. not en mass.

Ah yes the loony left telling us what to do and think in a communist dictatorial type way.

Seriously, these hairdressers, bar owners, restaurant and cafe owners need to stop whinging and start thinking about how they can solve their own problems rather that bleating that no ones telling them anything.

Remove only 20% of their tables and install some clear plastic boxes. They might be able to make their businesses profitable again
Perspex will be the new PPE in a month or two and if I were them I'd be getting ahead of the game before everyone wants them

The point is Crash that work safety precautions may well be in place at their workplace. The problem is to do with getting to the work place.

When you say "They will go back when safety precautions are in place, and gradually. not en mass", to whom are you referring to? Who are all of those people that are on the busy tubes, trains and buses in the city centres? Are they not going to work then??

As advised, don't touch your face (wearing a mask helps there) and wash your hands or use hand sanitiser regularly. Otherwise don't ride public transport, not every single potential risk can be fully mitigated unless the systems simply shut down altogether. Then what would people do who ride the 1.2M trips on the tube every 'normal' day before 10am do?
