I'm all for moving forward, but the point I was trying to make is why are we not planning sensible and safer movement of people on transport that at least has a chance of maintaining the social distancing that we all want? This was a free for all, people doing their best, having to go to work, wearing masks, but at that level of compactness it becomes dangerous for them and wider society. Surely that bit can be planned by the government to minimise risk? We can organise quotas in supermarkets, then with some thought, planning and resourse, surely we can plan it for bus and tube services? Just need will and basic competency!
