I guess Enzio can now rest easy that he won't be finishing his career there. I am surprised anyone gave him a go in the UK to be honest.

Me too. Cowdenbeath have only one win to their name this season so maybe desperation set in...

Good luck to him. Of course he had to go but his apology was full and he deserves another chance...

But that is society today, anyone making a mistake or saying the wrong thing to the woke brigade thereby must be sacked and crucified.
    An apology is no good.

Depends what's said, and in what context. And obviously things are very different if it isn't a one off.

The 'I made a mistake' defence has its limitations.

Plus sincerity is notoriously difficult to judge.

This whole scapegoating of a mythical "woke brigade" (formerly "pc brigade" is just Daily Mail/ The Sun jargon mate. It's written down so many times these days that people just keep repeating it and believing in it without even thinking about it.

Mo Ross was sacked from Notts for making racist remarks towards one of our players. It was our players (and I believe in particular our captain Michael Doyle) who complained and got him sacked.

Do you really think Doyle and the lads you cheer on every Saturday are part of some "woke brigade" conspiracy?

I have nothing against Mo Ross btw. His apology seemed sincere and I hope he does well in his new job. But I don't think it was unfair for him to be sacked for saying racist things towards one of our players. It's completely unacceptable behaviour.
