    I guess Enzio can now rest easy that he won't be finishing his career there. I am surprised anyone gave him a go in the UK to be honest.

    Good luck to him. Of course he had to go but his apology was full and he deserves another chance...

    But that is society today, anyone making a mistake or saying the wrong thing to the woke brigade thereby must be sacked and crucified.
    An apology is no good.

    Depends what's said, and in what context. And obviously things are very different if it isn't a one off.

    The 'I made a mistake' defence has its limitations.

    Plus sincerity is notoriously difficult to judge.
