    William Osula

Watching that goal and remembering what Shearer said last week about Newcastle attackers shouldnt be getting the ball then wondering what to do with it but rather should be having a clear idea of what they were going to do with the ball on receiving it - that goal shouts out of advice taken. I think the moment he received it on the tight wing he knew exactly what he was going to do.

One swallow doesnt make a summer but that was some goal.

Eddie said after the game that he'd stayed behind after training to practise more or less exactly that goal.

Yep, can't get carried away given the way he's played previously but that showed what he's capable of.

Also a damning indictment of Wissa, given that Eddie turned to Osula over him when we needed something.

He needs to stay for another season I think. There?s potential honey has a really good attitude.

The late winner off the bench was class.

However, we have to remember the unacceptable performance against a bang average Qarabag.

That's the truth of the situation. The lad has a lot of traits that should see him be a top player.

However, we can list dozens of players who, on paper, could become elite players, however, the mentality or psychology etc just isn't there.

Osula is gonna have a decent career as a footballer in a league like the Bundesliga, however, should Frankfurt come back in with 25m, the arm should be ripped off.

I think you'd be hard-pressed not to add Elanga into that, too.

Has Wissa been tried out on the wing for us at all?

I saw that Osula is the first substitute to score a 90+ minute winner against Man Utd in the Premier League 😳

I wonder who?s keeping all these random facts.
Next time it will be something like the first ever player to score a header in last 10 mins against a 10th placed team, while being 0:0 at HT and 1:1 at 80th mins mark.

    Anyway, back to our lad.
What he needs to be a world class? He?s got pace, strength, probably mentality as well, decent shot (when given time apparently).
And that things he lack, could it be trained?
