    Osula

Got to admit, I think I was wrong about him.

I thought he was going to be another in a long line of promising players who didn't live up to the hype here.

Obviously it's still early days but he's definitely showing the benefits of Eddie's coaching and he might become an important impact player for us.

I have to say, I always thought he'd come good under Eddie.

He always had the attitude to me to do well.

I was more worried we'd sell before seeing it for us . . . although ?30 million for him would have been a hell of profitable deal on him.

Pleased he's doing well and coming along.

Shows what Eddie can do, and can be used as a selling point to other players.

Hes still a bit rough, hopefully a diamond.

Got pace and power, just need to improve hes shooting, tecnique and vision a bit more.

Interestingly enough, funny you should say that, Viking, but Eddie was saying he's got some injury which is stopping him from taking part in finishing practice at the minute.

He won us 3 points almost on his own last weekend. Really pleased to see him finally making an impact coming on as a sub.

He's made some really good appearances lately. Maybe I was wrong too.

I think he's looked really strong - and he will learn a lot from Big Nick, I reckon.

    Let's see how it goes!

This ankle injury could be a red herring from Eddie - Osula looked very free flowing v Fulham (unless he picked up the injury since then?)

Reports this morning that Eddie is really pleased with his progress and the club will reject any offers for him in Jan.

Good. Having Woltemade, Wissa and Osula available is a decent position to be in.

Plus, Wissa will no sooner be match fir than he'll fuck off to the ACON and be missing for another month (and what's the betting he picks up another injury there).

By the looks of the time line regarding Wissa's recovery, with the mooted '6 week pre-season' rehab, he won't be ready for Afcon.

I would be very surprised if he goes to the tournament.
