It's a slightly easier gig for Starmer now in that it has happened and we can see what a **** show it is turning into.
I know it's unpalatable to those who want an immediate return to the EU, but the reality of the situation is that isn't going to happen. The priority is now to try to make the best of where we are for all our sakes
In an ideal world, the demise of Johnson will result in a government that can engage sensibly and constructively with the EU, instead of seeking to break agreements that they freely entered into just a couple of years ago. I'm not hopeful though.
