I get that some people may have different views on the whole Tonali thing.. but he is 23 years old... he turned 23 in May.. so 22 or younger when this betting happened...

He has made a mistake, he won't be the first or the last Newcastle player to make a mistake either.. he gets his punishment and we move on..

Joey Barton went to jail whilst playing for us........ he is loved by most Newcastle fans.. he also was banned for 18 month for illegal betting

So... thats Joelinton, Trippier and Barton off the top of my head who all broke the law.. Lets not forget Ghadoussi ... but it is Tonali who gets the most flack?

If you don't want to support him then don't, it is your prerogative but you also need to hold others with the same disdain when they do something illegal..

4,2,3,1 in order. Number 4 is a whole different discussion and shouldn't come into this debate.

I know I might get flack when I say this but I don't care about the illegal betting at all. I care more about the non disclosure of it when we signed him but for all we know it was disclosed and kept quiet.

I support him and the club. There are much worse things going on in the world to get upset about.
