    Yep, Terry's right.

He's made a massive mistake and he's definitely dropped us right in it BUT...he's our player, a young man who we can support as a club and a fanbase as he works through his problems.

The deed is done and a huge punishment is inevitably on its way. So, the question is, what do we do. Imo, nothing would be gained by having a go at him, exiling him, etc. The way to move on is to support him and help him and I think we will ultimately reap the rewards whrn he comes back.

it's a shit situation that we have no choice but to make the best of.

I get all that, but why did we have a different attitude towards Ryan Fraser? Fraser was seemingly disruptive and he was rightly outcast. Tonali has negatively affected our season. He has made us weaker. He is a distraction and an expensive one!

I personally want Tonali to get on his knees and apologise profusely to the club and the fans for the way he signed on for the club knowing he was in this kind of sh!t and how it would affect the team. Hopefully we can all draw a line under this charade and he can show some humility and get his head down and prove just how good he is, or not.

There’s still a lot of questions to be answered before a firm opinion can be made on this saga.
As the dust settles, though, I want to happen whatever is best for NUFC even if it isn’t so good for Sandro. I think the manager, club and supporters at the game have done the right thing as it’s likely to be the best for the club. If we can’t get compensation for the time he’s banned then we have nothing to gain from ostracizing him. I hope it’s only 8 months so his next season isn’t screwed too much and then I’ll pretend he’s done his cruciate to make me feel better!
Therefore, if we can legally get away with cutting his wages during the ban, I’d be in favour - again best for the club.
