It is time that responsible politicians had an honest conversation about immigration and asylum seekers. fat chance of that happening and I'm beyond contempt at Labour for pandering to the xenophobic fake news party!

I agree that hotels aren't suitable for housing them, but lets not forget it was the Tories and Jenrick in particular who did this and created a backlog in processing claims and failed to deport those whose claims failed.

Labour has committed to ending the use of hotels, though they are going to have to do it quicker than 2029, they ahve also beefed up enforcement of illegal working.


I had to laugh at Farage claiming he'd deport 600,000, there are actually only 110,000 in the UK! Still when did facts or actual solutions to issues matter to that blustering, narcissistic grifter?

Lets al so remember, that the majority of the UK voters aren't focussed on asylum seekers, yes they would like to see them properly and humanely handled but this ugly xenophobic rhetoric that's in the right wing media and pushed by reform and the Tories et al isn't in tune with what most people think.
