I am but RA generally doesn't which rather proves my point that your disappearance is generally due to you not willing to justify your point of view. Which goes back a long way and is rather childish, if your unwilling to debate then don't, fair enough, but throwing casual or provocative comments in and then not responding after that is pointless.

You claim that you can't be bothered to debate with those with blinkered views, yet both RA and myself, have a wide range of views, indeed on multiple occasions I have actually agreed with some of the points you have made and said so.

But when your response to the majority of people in the UK aren't fixated on immigration, you quote the fact that opinion polls suggest otherwise. Which is fine, but as you must surely know, it rather depends upon the question asked. I suspect most people if asked, Are you concerned about immigration? May answer yes. If they were asked which are you most concerned about? The economy, The NHS, Education, Public Transport, Climate change, Immigration, then the answers would be different, yet would still need to be taken with caution.

At a time of austerity by any other name, when people are facing genuinely hard times and numerous shortages the UK transfer window is apparently worth around 2.7 billion GBP. That’s 2,700 million!

It doesn’t, but if you won’t , or can’t, answer straightforward, sensible, on topic questions there’s nothing I can do other than wonder…why?
