Attachment 317Great archive photo of Millers 1960/61 squad - I don't think that I've ever seen that before. For young Millersmadsters, Peter Madden is the player on the top row, right end. Brian Jackson is between keeper Roy Ironside and our mystery man Colin Smith, top row centre-left (Albert Bennett not present). Case closed?

It could still be Jackson, thaimillerfan. We won't know for sure unless someone who was there can name him for certain. I'm looking into that. Those that are alive still are pushing 80 now.

Thanks for putting up the picture I was talking about, mikemiller. I particularly like it because it shows the old Main Stand retaining wall painted in the wide vertical red and white stripes as I remember it. I used to stand in Kids Corner behind the boundary wall on the left hand side of the shot.

I was wondering about that, too, CAM! At first I thought it was first team squad in shirts with all white sleeves; reserves the rest. But then first team players like Madden, Perry and several others are wrong. The socks seem to be another mixture altogether looking at the front row! Judging by other pictures Ive looked at, and from memory, the official strip that year was the one with the narrow white cuff to the shirt sleeves and a red stripe at the side of the shorts.
