I also think he'll be fantastic for us this season, he's that rare beast, a footballer with a brain. He'll learn from every appearance and get better as the season goes on. I find it sad that he's getting some critisism on here, people calling him lazy, a luxury player, even suggesting he's only being picked because it's in his contract ! I don't think people recognise how lucky we are to have him and what a coup it was to get him.

The one downside of having him is that he's far more effective at number 10 than on the wing, which means sticking to one up front- a formation that is apparently clueless and defeatist even though most of the top teams in the country play that way.
I was surprised that he played the two games after it was said that he was ill.
