Anyway to the match ...thought we did OK ..nice to see the 4-4-2 again ,thought halford had a decent game ,their keeper made 3 fantastic saves ,ref was **** ,izzy was ....well not izzy ..........its going to be a long and cold couple of months coming up
Agreed. Was disappointed with Brown when he came on. Did enough for the draw a cruel goal after Camps heroics. Lets not forget this was Jacketts first game. He will have got a good impression of what he has and what needs to be done. Very encouraging.

"As an opposing manager, Frecklington and Smallwood always gave you a game," says Jackett

Yep we have missed Smallwood. missed him today. Hope thls is a sign we may get him back in Jan,

First of all Ibj is a few drops short of a piss.

I think today was better but last 20 mins we looked knackered.

Blacksock not for me very ineffective.

Better but a lot to do at least we put some effort in and a big job to do but not impossible.

    Good to see wood back.

For me we looked better defensively mainly due to Wood being back

But we didn't look as good going forward we are still having spells when we just drop off and

give the opposition far too much room

Oh well work in progress I think we need to get the young lads up to speed then we can press quicker

    Poetic Pocket ....

    Disjointed today - the stats for the more "expansive" 4 4 2 is a disgrace - 72 % for Reading.. .

    And shots again shocking - for a 4 4 2

Performances against Newcastle and Huddersfield were were tactically better - the goal at Huddersfield being a top class counter attacking goal....but stats meant nothing then - tactics allowed this - whereas playing 4 4 2 - those stats are.....what's a common football term used on this forum....that's it... ****e !

Gone back 2 years today !
