Understatement of the year my good friend. AS was appalling. 2 months to find a striker then goes and gets a free agent WHO NOBODY ELSE WANTED on **** loads of money . Over loading the midfield with mainly **** players .Although what ive seen of Vaulks recently could be decent in LG1 .Tactically crap and a boring manager, who never got me excited . Did it for me when he walked straight down the tunnel at Brighton after 6 hours trying to get there ,What a **** he was and i hope he rots in the conference somewhere .Good Riddance **** stain ..Hope that clears it up for you .

But why is the "default" answer : It was Stubbs fault ?
Is that similar to you saying the reason Chelsea sent Brown to us was because of Stubbs?

Stubbs is not that bad of a manager if the truth be told, he just was not and is not a championship manager at this stage in his managerial career.

    Poker....

How much is Blackstock on ( £)....?

"2 months to find a striker".....Don't you think NW procrastination didn't screw up our planning !

And - TS was constantly on radio deedah stating:

"We'very offered good money for our targets and agents are making it an auction"

    Remember the phrases:

    "Value for money"

    "Not paying silly money"....

Stubbs was light years ahead of playing "The Rotherham Way"....

We are in the championship where multi-million pound players can take the laces out of your boots!

He was tactically astute and tried to get the team capable of playing the way Hull & Burnley did to pick the pocket of Liverpool - and both teams beat Liverpool with less than 30ish % of the possession.

    Now - you think that's boring !

Well I call it firkin brilliant and love to watch it - and more importantly I like the 3 points !

As for Brighton away - ok he didn't wave.

I did the Brighton away weekend - 12 of us in the back of a "murder van" ( no seats )....and someone threw up within 20 miles - so what a delightful weekend we had - frog marched by police / horses from Brighton to Hove then after the match hambushed at Brighton station and slightly outnumbered....so yes - I would like a little appreciation for travelling - he should wave but.....perhaps his concentration was elsewhere......that is one lesson he'll learn but ffs it's not a trait I would fire a manager over !

And shark......no Chelsea loaned us Izzy because of the Rotherham weather ' he needed some winter sun on his back !

Of course Stubbs wanted Izzy for his ability to carry the ball and feed Ward on the break.....a brilliant find made possible due to Stubbs and Doolan knowledge of the young talent playing in the Premiership U21's

As for critism of individual players well that's your opinion.

Remember "value for money" - "a future based on youth"....

The "squad players" he brought in were England players and some multi-million pound signings not too long ago.

I would like to see a good run in the team for Blackstock and Wilson because they are class players and perhaps politics rather than form is keeping them out at the moment.

Yates shouldn't be on a championship pitch yet - far too naive and not physically strong enough by far !

What was a major disappointment to me was Stewart's comments about fans renewing or not renewing their season tickets. It came over as "I'm not really bothered" and disrespectful.

Jolly....with all the "disrespectful" things TS and his family have endured this season I would always say "Good fans" when referring to our fan Base because the rubbish / bile / stupidity shown by some - even on this site has been atrocious !

TS has put his heart and sole into this club and not least millions of pounds.

I personally think "anti-social media" including MM got so hostile that it affected TS into sacking AS....and I think that was the biggest mistake in his history of being chairman.

The fans are not experts !

The chairman knew his plans - I heard him say that the revolving door had to stop...... and "based on youth" - "long term policy"....and "value for money" Stubbs did exactly what was asked of him.

The central defence ( Stubbs inherited ) let us all down and the fans got at Stubbs for not waving - "Mr Personality"...ffs

So if our chairman is p155ed off with SOME fans - well he should be !

F##k them - if they want to not renew and support our wonderful club and our chairman ( who is only human ) who has made mistakes and has feelings too - we don't want them knob heads at NYS.

Thanks and good luck to them!

I imagine he threw up because he was sick to death of you repeating the same old stuff over and over and over again 😞

Let's ignore the fact that we had a striker who Stubbs thought wasn't good enough, 21 goals this season Derbyshire
