I'm not sure if that's what he meant although it didn't sound good.

Maybe he was just trying to not criticise the supporters but got it wrong?

He needs sone help with interviews.

He threw up because we set off after last orders and travelled overnight - he just didn't travel well after a skin full.

12 in the back of a transit - with no seats - to Brighton - for the weekend and getting a lad out of the police station because he found a police car with the window open and picked onto the seats - it rained all night and were ham bushed lol......

    So - I know about away weekends...lol

    Happy days

Quality lads - intellectual vacuum on here sometimes.....yeh stubs wu sh#t !

    Pathetic !

Stubbs was light years ahead of playing "The Rotherham Way"....

He was tactically astute and tried to get the team capable of playing the way Hull & Burnley did to pick the pocket of Liverpool - and both teams beat Liverpool with less than 30ish % of the possession.

    Now - you think that's boring !

Well I call it firkin brilliant and love to watch it - and more importantly I like the 3 points !

I did the Brighton away weekend - 12 of us in the back of a "murder van" ( no seats )....and someone threw up within 20 miles - so what a delightful weekend we had - frog marched by police / horses from Brighton to Hove then after the match hambushed at Brighton station and slightly outnumbered....so yes - I would like a little appreciation for travelling - he should wave but.....perhaps his concentration was elsewhere......that is one lesson he'll learn but ffs it's not a trait I would fire a manager over !

The "squad players" he brought in were England players and some multi-million pound signings not too long ago.

I would like to see a good run in the team for Blackstock and Wilson because they are class players and perhaps politics rather than form is keeping them out at the moment.
    1. I have heard from quite a reliable source that Dexter is on £7,500 a week, which is about seven grand too much.

Here's what a few Nottm F****t fans said about him when they released him:

Think he'll be alright on the £18k a week he's stolen off us over the years. Useless lump and over the moon he's gone.

No problem being laid off with a chunk of cash in your back pocket and probably some fool manager out there ready to offer you another contract. There are too many players out there who look wonderful when their contract is running down and they need to impress to get a renewal. I am afraid Dex is one of those who only tries for half a season every three years and can't be bothered in between.

    LaffinLamb | Thursday, September 1 2016, 6:03PM
Yeah were short up front but hes 30 and id rather have a hungry academy lad promoted, a sound decision. He had 9 months left on his contract so were saving 750k (minus whatever the golden handshake was) another big earner off the books. I liked Dex he did a good job first 2/3 years but it was very generous giving him a 4.5 year extension in 2013 on 18k a week (thats 4 million for 12 goals). Not sure which madman made that awful financial decision on behalf of our club. Its right up there in the top 1 though of the past 5 years

I think most Millers know exactly how Richard1952 feels. And he was dead right about "some fool manager" giving him a contract. Cheers for that Stubbsy. And LaffinLamb said, "Not sure which madman made that awful financial decision on behalf of our club." Yeah funnily enough, that's how we feel when some idiot at our club decided to give him a three year contract.

    2. What is "The Rotherham Way"???? You keep talking about this in relation to possession, but we have never been a team that keeps possession and wears people down that way, so I'm struggling to understand what you mean by "The Rotherham Way". Not only that, we have played in several different formations using a variety of tactics down the years. I've never, ever heard anyone else even mention "The Rotherham Way" before, until you have banged on about it relentlessly this season.

    3. None of us have EVER found it boring when our team has little of the possession but beats one of the big boys. We have bloodied a few of the big boys' noses down the years, and it's nearly always been with less possession than the opposition, and none of us have complained about that or called it boring. You are the ONLY one on here with an obsession about possession.

    5. Alan Stubbs was NOT sacked because he didn't wave to the fans. I know you are trying to defend your hero and are clearly grasping at straws, but this is a ridiculous statement, even for you.

    6. "The "squad players" he brought in were England players and some multi-million pound signings not too long ago." Not ONE of the players Alan Stubbs signed has ever played for England. I really don't know where you get your information from, or whether it's your memory playing tricks on you, but not a single player has even got one cap for England. Only Jake Forster-Caskey has ever even got England Under 21 caps, but that DOESN'T make him an England player. It's like you think you can go round telling lies and no-one will pick up on them. Scott Allan is that gash he can't even get a cap for Scotland and that is saying something.

    7. Blackstock and Wilson are not class players, and it's not politics that is keeping them out of the team, it's the fact that when they have played they have both been awful, and Blackstock, especially, is a bone idle, disinterested bugger.

    Well said Ellis.
You've got more patience than me to explain the truth in excellent detail.
I'll bet he doesn't accept it though!

    Read the "Hambushed"

Your ability for comprehension I apparent so without appearing patronising - stick to crosswords.
