Was told last night that Johnson works from home somewhere on the south coast. Is that correct ? Also what's the career history of chief scout Tom Randle ?

There used to be a Chief Scout at Crystal Palace by the name of Tom Randle, more than likely be the same one.
He was at Palace for around three & a half years.
Probably knows Jamie Johnson, after all Head of Recruitment`s, Chief Scouts usually meet when they`re watching games & assessing players.
Jamie Johnson is the son of former Liverpool. QPR, Newcastle & Spurs scout Mel Johnson. ( ex-player )
Don`t expect JJ to be here too long, they usually move on after a couple of years anyway. He was recommended by KJ before he left.

Rotherham United have paid £60k for the computer programme. It was mentioned that a guy from Brighton was head hunted by the club to work as head of recruitment.

To be honest froggy I think it`s immaterial where he`s working from. I was told he lived somewhere in Wiltshire, no reason to disbelieve that. He served his notice at Brighton, was recommended by K.J.

Isn't that what head of recruitments/scouts do, work from home?

I'm sure he comes to NYS and is in constant touch with TS or whoever at the club.
I'm sure he will also be out and about looking at players.

I'd be moaning if he was a nine to five bloke sitting behind the desk at NYS
