The club this season will have a budget and Warne will have to work within that. The amount of money we have received for Danny Ward is £720k and that money will be added to the budget for the season.
You seem to have the inside track on some of the financial matters of the club Tony, presumably as a result of contacts from your RUST days.
There has been a fair bit of speculation about the extent of the payment made to Blackstock to settle his contract, so, just out of interest do you have any idea what the cost to the club was please? Whatever the final sum was, Paul Warne has been quoted as saying it won't detrimentally affect his budget to buy players so it would be interesting to know where the payment came from.

I dont know Mellow and I imagine nobody will ever know. Usually in these things there will be a lump sum and them an agreed term of payment which may be negated if the player finds alternative employment. Lets say for arguments sake we gave DB 150k and said we will keep paying him until xmas his 7k wages. If he then turns up at Notts County on 3k a week, we would only pay 4k. I believe we are still paying Alan Stubbs and Neil Redfearn.

    Thanks Tony.
Hopefully the club will learn a salutary lesson from the Blackstock fiasco. It would probably help if they had someone on the board with "football knowledge."

Full accounts for year ending is here.. not easy to understand. Tony which bit shows the 3 million TS put into the club. Or will it not show on the booked??
also shows season ticket sales at just over 6000 in 2016. And just under 6000 in 2015. Guess there not down much on those figures

Ah commercial revenue. It's much worst Tony.
Year ending 2016 it was 4.9 million. Year ending 2015 1.3million.
    Year ending 2014 3.4 million.

Gowd knows what this year's book will reveal.. how dare TS only put that pittence into rufc
