Managers like Shankly, Paisley and Ferguson had the knack of being able to replace fading stars with just the right signing and Shankly at least started from the low point of taking on a club in the old Div. 2 who weren't even the best team on Merseyside.
Clough's achievements at Derby and Forest were magnificent but, imo, he could never compare with those three.
The BIG differences were that BC did it with 'small' clubs, and he did it in two places. No-one else has ever been the catalyst for such overachievement in British football.

Reading,, some c** blew me out, never liked the s****** club since

Leicester ive always hated playing, was at the 94 final, and was at the game we were 0 4 down inside 18 minutes, all 4 headers from crosses, most of them from one wing aswell,, was also at the 4 1 hammering a few seasons ago,, sick of em tbh, and its made worse by the fact that c** from reading started seeing a leicester fan a few weeks later.

Dont actually hate forest tbh, dont understand the rivalry other than clough, and shouldnt that mean we like each other?,, its Leeds we should hate more in that regard imo.

Leeds rivalry was a big rivalry for us in the 70’s but since Forest came around thanks to Clough, the rivalry between Leeds has died down not a big rivalry it once was like back in the 70’s but i always see Leeds Utd more our main rivals then Forest. Forest is more hyped as our big rivalry then Leeds but that was different back in the 70’s.
