    It reminds me of Richard Littlejohn's newspaper column in which he regularly pokes ridicule into the police investigation into Jimmy Saville and he always ends his comments with the words...."and by the way,Jimmy is still dead" :-))

    Going back to Hendrix though....has anybody else even come close to playing the guitar as brilliantly as that guy?

    Some real officionados of music on here who will know better than myself but I always think he's the best ever when you look at the old clips.

    Don't know about the best Mick, everyone has their favourites, in my opinion he was, he was certainly the most inventive. Never heard anyone play a guitar like that before or since.
    I was at college when he died, and then Janice followed him the following month.

    I don't think I've ever heard a dead person wished happy birthday before.
    I hope it doesn't become a trend.
    Do we remember the deceased on their birthday or their death day?
