And that is not an acceptable situation for a club aspiring to promotion to be in, end of.

I'm not a Wiedwald fan and yes he could have done a bit better for their goal but he wasn't the reason we lost that game.

Think it was just a game where our lack of depth shone bright. Without Saiz we look poor going forward, Roofe yet again for me showing he is not a Championship quality striker nor will he ever be. Shaughnessey in midfield? What is the point, we have Klich who for me looked good when he came on and looked hungry for the ball whereas Shaughnessey looked poor throughout, not his fault as he is learning his trade but amazed me he lasted 90 minutes.

On our day when we have our best 11 available with no injury conners we are a top 4 side. When we have one or two injuries to key players we are a top 10 side and that is why we need strengthening in january. I said this last year going into Jan when we had made heavy work of some games but won them so it looked like we were brilliant the same is happening now, we've been winning but getting the luck go our way in very poor games overall and today it caught up with us, we cannot let this opportunity slip yet again and pretend this squad is good enough for promotion, because it isn't.

1 x striker, centre mid if Klich is going, lb and hell maybe even another winger because Cibicki and Alisoki just don't cut it for me when Saiz isn't putting it on a plate for them.

I'd have taken 5th going into 2018 but we HAVE to take this chance and strengthen, we've let it slip through our fingers twice before and I can't stomach us doing it again, playing safe and not achieving anything. Sell Klich, send CBJ back and get two in their place + a striker and either an attacking player or beg Swansea to let us have Bartley

I say it constantly, if you don't make the opposition goalkeeper earn his match day wage then you don't deserve to win the game, stockDale made one save that I remember, which was a weak shot from Phillips, forget that Felix fluffed, fact is, even without his error, we deserved nothing from that game

He wouldn't have won us the game, that's for the outfielders, but he DID lose us the game, and let's face it, for all the possession etc, they didn't exactly make him sweat for his wage did they?

you could say that in a way but we win and lose as a team and earlier in the game he pulled off a top drawer save to keep us in the game.

we are not going to win every game no matter how much we want to and a return of 6 points from 9 over Christmas is play off form.

I said many negative things about WW on this forum, but that goal yesterday was definitely not his fault. i would argue that he did really well to get down and make the initial save from a shot that had pace, swerve and also dipped from inside the 18 yard box.

On this occasion the defense should and could have done more to prevent the initial shot and also could have anticipated a rebound.

    Q.Changed a winning line up - Why ?
A.Lost attacking strength to a unbalanced midfield set up thus creating tactical defensive weakness was the result of said changes, imho.Under the cosh from the off !

Myself - Started the day with a 'rare' error - accidentally gave my husband a dog worming tablet mistaking it as his similar vitamin tablet he keeps in van glove compartment/tray.
Felix - one good save, never troubled all game in truth, poor distribution albeit on a bad pitch surface 'tho and punished for one error (Yes,error) but decent goal to be fair to Brum who played well in all departments and had a go at us.
Ayling - Average,no urgency to attack shown, looked tired or maybe under orders to stay back and drift into central defending areas to deal with Brum's big 'uns.
Pontus - SolId & worked hard with Cooper & Felix, just left Felix exposed once in danger zone under pressure,no forward running 'tho today - disciplined as Brum big forwards played it rough.
Cooper - Busy mopping up our poor/unbalanced sloppy midfield from the off.
Berardi - Captain ? Failed all day sadly and they took him apart surprise surprise.
Shaughnessy - Powder puff end of. Not sure why he was chosen (?) as Brum had experience in their midfield set up.
Phillips - Poor today, too much asked of him,in-experience showed against experience.
Cibicki (Cheesebiccy)- Looked 'leggy' on a heavy pitch but midfield never fed him the ball.
Hernandez - To deep to be effective sadly, wrong midfield combo behind tactically left him short, again a heavy pitch not his bag, required more heart but average all in all.
Alioski - Had to have a poor game and today was the one.
Roofe - Tried all game on and off the ball but was given no service whatsoever.
Lasogga - Mmm,had 'half a chance' but couldn't put any blame on him for it.Needs a run but don't think he'll get it in TC's set up as we are now but come Jan he may shine with new additions.
Summary - Why bother,I was there & TV doesn't lie so I hear.

Be physical against us and flood the midfield we don't seem to have an answer..even when the team we are facing is sh1te and bottom of the league..and it also helps when you set up to be defensive.
